Ashitaka, a prince of the disappearing Ainu tribe, is cursed through a demonized boar god and must adventure to the west to locate a cure. Along the way, he encounters San, a young human lady preventing to protect the forest, and Lady Eboshi, who is trying to spoil it. Ashitaka must locate a means to convey steadiness to this conflict.
