Two small children and a ship's cook dinner survive a shipwreck and locate protection on an idyllic tropical island. Soon, however, the cook dinner dies and the younger boy and lady are left on their own. Days turn out to be years and Emmeline (Brooke Shields) and Richard (Christopher Atkins) make a home for themselves surrounded via unique creatures and nature's beauty. But will they ever see civilization again?
