This film portrays the drug scene in Berlin in the 70s, following tape recordings of Christiane F. 14 years vintage Christiane lives with her mom and little sister in a standard multi-storey condo development in Berlin. She's interested through the 'Sound', a new disco with maximum trendy equipment. Although she's legally too young, she asks a buddy to take her. There she meets Detlef, who's in a clique the place everybody's on drugs. Step through step she will get drawn deeper into the scene.
